A passion for writing

Hi. I’m Dylan Reisberg, a senior at North Shore on Long Island. Some of my passions include creative writing, running, political debate, and history.

My passion for poetry lies in exploring the human experience through words. My writing draws inspiration from history, memory, identity, and the stories that connect us across generations. I’m fascinated by poetry's power to preserve voices and narratives that offer a glimpse into lives beyond our own.

I began writing to make sense of the world around me, but it has grown into something more: a way to ask questions, uncover overlooked perspectives, and give meaning to stories that deserve to be remembered. Whether I’m writing about the past or reflecting on the complexities of the present, I hope my work encourages readers to pause, reflect, and see familiar things in unfamiliar ways.
